Farmacy Honey Savior All-in-One Skin Repair Salve, $34, is a multi-tasking honey-based balm that can cure just about anything. I've been dabbing it on my cracked cuticles, massaging it into mosquito bites, using it to tame the wild frizz around my hairline … the list goes on. Plus, the honey comes from bees who collect pollen from a special type of echinacea, making this salve especially high in antioxidants.

The Regular Nail Polish That's Better Than Gel
I recently road-tested Maxus Nail Polish, $18, and I was beyond impressed. My nails looked fresh and chip-free for TWO whole weeks -- and those weeks included swimming in chlorinated pools and salty oceans and doing countless rounds of post-grilling clean up (ahh, summer).
When this polish was formulated, color was added to a treatment base -- not the other way around -- which might explain why my nails are now longer and stronger than ever before. For now, there are only four colors, but they're exactly the colors you need. I recommend Adored -- a nude that looks good on everyone.

The Most Luxurious Eye Cream -- Ever
There are all other eye creams, and then there's Cle de Peau Intensive Eye Contour Cream, $255. Yes, I realize the price is crazy bananas, but this eye cream is the pinnacle of luxury. It's packed with a silk extract from a special silk worm in Japan, as well as countless brightening, hydrating and skin-firming ingredients. Even the multi-faceted jar is unlike everything else -- it's practically a work of art for you bathroom.

A Mascara That Also Tints Your Lashes
I feel fortunate to have naturally dark lashes, but I know many women who regularly have their blonde lashes professionally tinted. However, that process can be risky, time consuming and expensive. Now, they have a much easier option: Rimmel Volume Colorist Mascara, $9.49, which is an awesome volumizing mascara that also gradually make lashes darker -- even when you're not wearing it. The formula is supergentle, and you'll start to see results in about two weeks.

Third Day-Hair Spray
I love the feeling of soft, freshly-washed and dried hair -- that is, until it falls flat. IGK Down & Out Dirty Spray, $29, is the ultimate solution for that problem. More than a texture spray, it's a dirty spray, and it gives your hair just the right amount of grit without being sticky or heavy. And the finish is shiny instead of matte like so many other sprays.
August is steamy and sweaty, and even though your makeup is melting off your face and your hair is frizzing into oblivion, that doesn't mean you're going to quit buying new beauty products. In fact, you'll probably buy more -- just to fight the melting and the frizzing. This month, we're featuring nine amazing new products that will keep you cool, hydrated and smelling pretty all August long -- because this when you need your beauty products the most.
