How to:
-Warm a styling cream between your palms, then smooth your hair back into a ponytail at the center of your head. Use a boar bristle brush to smooth out any bumps.
-Spritz your pony with a heat protectant, then flat iron the tail for a smooth and sleek finish.
-Pick a hair chalk or hair crayon, like Bleach London Hair Crayon, $6.13, and run it over one-inch sections of your pony.

The Twisted Ponytail
How to:
-Work Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, $27, through hair.
-Gather your hair into a mid-height ponytail and secure with a clear elastic.
-Twist the ponytail clockwise. It will start to coil itself under, creating a French twist look.
-Hold the ponytail tight at the nape of your neck and secure with large bobby pins, starting with a vertical one from the bottom. Secure other pins horizontally to lock in the style.
How to:
-Blow-dry hair as straight as possible, then smooth hair from root to ends with a flat iron.
-Section the top half of hair from temple to temple and make a middle part, crisscrossing the pieces over each other. Secure each piece with a hair bungee elastic behind the ears.
-Repeat the process using sections from the side of the head and crossing them over the middle section.
