Makeup artist Rose Marie Swift was inspired to start her namesake brand after a series of health problems she attributed to her extensive work with various cosmetics (in all their chemical glory). After recovering, she decided to use her makeup expertise and newfound devotion to chemical-free beauty to create a natural, non-toxic color cosmetics line. As a result, all of RMS' products are made using raw, food-grade organic ingredients and are designed to promote and nourish healthy skin.
