What should you do for aftercare?
Oliviera is a big believer in all natural, eco-friendly products and after care which is what the Elastic Wax Center LLC has an In Home Kit has. Most kits should come with wipes to clean up residue and for aftercare, but for that extra safety measure, you could use either or both calendula and tea tree oil to calm the skin and treat bumps and ingrown hairs.

What if you have a bad reaction?
If you've made sure to clean your skin and disinfect any tools you want to use while waxing, you should be fine, but things happen.

Any irritation/bumps will likely resolve on their own in a few days, but if it's really bothering you, go to your local drugstore and grab an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment to help ease the itch. A specially-formulated product such as the Fur Ingrown Concentrate, $28, can also be very beneficial.
