Bean Town earned the ninth spot on the list because of their devotion to wrinkle creams, their relatively fit mentality and the number of dermatologists they have per capita. They did fall behind a few spots because they rank No. 5 in the U.S. for number of tanning beds per capita -- apparently, those long winters make for a booming tanning business!

No. 8: San Diego
Sunny San Diego does emit a lot of sun -- meaning that their ranking took a hit due to high rates of melanoma (29 cases per 100,000 people each year). However, they've got plenty of experts on hand to treat and prevent the skin cancer -- the dermatologist rate (4 per 100,000 people) keeps San Diego on the list of top cities that defy aging.

No. 7: Portland, Ore.
Portland, Ore. lands on the list for the culture of fitness that pervades the city. Six percent of commuters bike to work in the cycle-friendly city, which is 10 times the national average. They did lose a few points for their love and devotion to craft beer, however, with 8.5 bars per 10,000 people -- that's more alcohol-serving establishments per capita than New York City.

No. 6: Austin, Texas
The City of Weird is also the City of Youth, according to Austin's statistics. Austin ranks No. 4 for fitness centers and No. 2 for interest in Botox, according to RealSelf.com page views. Austin's citizens might raise their browse at the shenanigans that go on in their city, but since Botox renders them perpetually surprised, there's no way to tell what they're really thinking.

It should come as no surprise that outdoorsy Denver made the list due to the high number of fitness centers per capita. What you didn't know, however, is that it also boasts a high number of successful tanning salons -- it's No. 9 in the country. Tan safe, Denver!
