Leah's natural color was rich in brown tones, but her old highlights looked a bit worn and frazzled. "We wanted to make her hair more vibrant and a lot richer in the red tones to really bring out her blue eyes more -- like the color of a sunset," said Cristophe generalist Fanesia Vienna.
For Leah's cut, Vienna went with a "lob" -- a long bob. "I wanted to work with her natural texture so it would be an easy style for her -- something that has a little more edge to it, but is still low maintenance," said Vienna.

Leah already had a gorgeous, naturally wavy hair texture and her cut was just below shoulder length. She has experimented with colors and cuts previously, but she has also done a bit of her own styling at home.
"I typically do a lot of heat styling on my hair," said Leah. "I only wear it wavy in the summer months. But with this cut, I know it will be easy for me to blow it out but still wear it wavy if I want something easy that I can just wash and wear."
After coloring her hair, Vienna washed it out using Tresemme Keratin Infusing Shampoo, $5.75, and Conditioner, $5.75, to nourish her hair and keep it looking sleek. Plus, the smooth keratin formula will minimize frizz and maintain her natural hair texture when styling.

After applying Tresemme Keratin Infusing Smoothing Serum, $5.29, to eliminate frizz, Vienna dried her hair and followed up with a few finishing snips on Leah's cut.
"I cut her hair wet first then touched it up and cut after it was blown out," said Vienna. "This cut has a good shape to it, so when it grows out, it won't be an awkward style."

To style, Vienna used a vented round brush and blew out Leah's hair to add volume to her roots and highlight her new layers. To complete Leah's new hairstyle, Vienna used a curling iron to bend and shape the ends of her hair.
"The smoothing serum (Tresemme Keratin Infusing Smoothing Serum, $5.29) really added shine to the hair and made it sleek," said Vienna. "The thermal protectant, even after spraying a ton of it, didn't feel very heavy at all. It's a really light formula -- very silky."
