Lately, we've seen crystal accessories everywhere, from hair flair and cocktail rings to smoking slippers and intricate beadwork on dresses. When Kate Middleton was spotted wearing crystal's cheaper cousin in the form of a rhinestone encrusted necklace at the "Mandela" premiere. we thought it only fitting to feature the sparkling crystal statement necklaces embellishing every it girl's neck this season.

Style connoisseur Emily Sklar from the blog Just Jem snapped a photo wearing this Stella and Dot crystal necklace on top of a crew neck pullover and pale pink feather skirt. The high-end, low-end mix isn't just casual and chic, it's also probably the only way to pull off crystals and feathers without looking like a bedazzled ostrich.
