Blowpro Textstyle Dry Texture Spray, $19.75, is ideal for misting on freshly dried hair before you curl. It creates texture and volume with plenty of hold, and it has truffle extract, basil flower and rooibos leaf to help protect your hair and make your style last for days. The spray is slightly heavier than some of the others, so mist conservatively and hold it a good eight inches away from your hair.

Unlike most dry texturizing sprays, Sebastian Texture Maker, $19.95, isn't totally dry. Because it's a non-aerosol spray, it has a damp quality, and you need to be careful not to overdo it.
