Socks and sandals is not typically a trend I endorse, but the Versus Versace show has me singing another tune. The three gold buckles climbing up from these strappy heels make them look like booties, an illusion created by the thin black stockings under them.

Debut Design
As Victoria Beckham's designs were sent down the runway, all eyes were on the models' feet. The designer made her footwear debut this year with chunky velvet platforms, cheetah print Mary Janes and these floral, pointed-toe brogues. Consider flats officially back in fashion. (Our feet rejoice.)

Slip-on Style
Our favorite trend from New York Fashion Week: comfortable footwear. If the abundance of sneakers, sandals and low-heeled boots are a sign of continued popularity for the anti-stiletto, we're on board. The models at DKNY walked down the runway in colorful sneakers and these ultra-sparkly flatform sandals that look downright comfy.

Couture Nostalgia
Christian Siriano cited "transparency" as the inspiration for his spring/summer 2015 collection, which translated to perforated fabrics, lace, sheer panels and these jelly sandals. I loved these when I was in grade school and I love them now. Let's make this an ongoing trend, please.

The shoe trends at fashion week covered everything from lace-up heels to comfy sandals we'd wear on a typical Saturday. Here, 12 fashion week shoes that left us reeling.
