Move over, Blair Waldorf. Actress Zhan Lanxin sat front row at Carolina Herrera's Fall 2014 and nailed an Upper East Side-worthy ensemble that even Queen B would applaud. Lanxin pumped up the prep-factor by mixing plaid houndstooth with plain houndstooth and tied the whole look together with strappy, jeweled sandals, a metallic clutch and a chunky belt with silver hardware that brought the traditional prints up to speed for 2014. Better yet: in true fashion darling form, Zhan skipped the sleeves and simply draped her coat over her shoulders like a front row pro.

Staying warm while looking stylish enough to earn a front-row seat at Fashion Week is no easy feat. Leave it to perpetual "It" girl Olivia Palermo to show us how it's done.
