At Mara Hoffman, the eye makeup was as colorful as the swimsuits. Sarah Lucero, the Global Artistic Director for Stila Cosmetics took inspiration from "Amazonian jungle beauty," using Stila All Day Waterproof Smudge Sticks and Stila Liquid Eyeliners in Emerald along the bottom lashes. And those extra-long eyelashes -- those are a sneak peek into what you'll get from Stila's Mile High Lashes Mascara coming out this fall.

Adorned
Pearls were everywhere at spring/summer fashion shows this season -- cuffs, purse, the ubiquitous Chanel chokers ... so it was refreshing to see them used in a brand new way at the L*Space by Monica Wise fashion show. The silver and copper-colored pearl headbands coordinated with the prettiest brown, shimmery eye makeup look we'll be stealing for fall.

Quintessential Waves
We love beach waves at Total Beauty (and we've done some pretty crazy things to get them), so of course we were struck by the bouncy waves at the Caffe Swimwear show. They managed to pull off the seemingly impossible -- just enough wave and texture, while still maintaining volume.

Color Outside the Lines
Mara Hoffman's show wasn't the only one inspired by the tropics. We Are Handsome's Miami Swim Week show was full of fun -- models strutting down the catwalk with boa constrictors, bopping down the runway with headphones and wearing this colorful, angular eye makeup look. I'm sold. I need emerald eyeliner.

The New Orange Lip
We're still coming down from the orange lip high left by all the spring/summer New York Fashion Week shows, but the models at Belusso showed a brand new way to wear it. In addition to fishtail braids the lip look was almost a mix between an orange lip and a nude lip. We're psyched about how wearable this option is.
If Mercedes Benz Fashion Week conjures up iconic New York scenes, fashion editors wrapped in the craziest coats you've ever laid eyes on, and of course, Bill Cunningham, you're a woman after our own hearts. But while we're anxiously awaiting New York Fashion Week for a couple more months, we decided to turn our attention to the south. Miami, that is. Miami Swim Week is almost a complete 180 from the other Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks. The shows take place late at night in an almost party atmosphere, and the bikinis can be so skimpy it makes us blush. As always, our favorite part of any fashion week are the beauty looks. Here, our favorite hair and makeup looks from the hottest city around.
