Oscar da la Renta's Spring '15 New York Fashion Week show was everything dreams are made of: swingy bell skirts, oversized gingham and lace combos, elegant feather details, sparkly crop tops and flirty florals. It makes sense that the makeup by Gucci Westman for Hourglass was just as feminine and polished. De la Renta's models, including Karlie Kloss, sported berry-stained lips; glowing skin; straight, full brows and, for added drama, a bold winged eyeliner. The effect was stunning, yet effortless looking.

Here's how to get the look:
-Skin: Prep skin with Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer and follow with Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint. Conceal any dark circles or imperfections with Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer.
-Cheeks: Create a seamless, soft-focus glow with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. Lightly contour with Radiant Light. Then apply Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat to the apples of the cheek. Finish up by highlighting with Incandescent Light.
-Eyes: Sweep Hourglass Calligraphy Liquid Eye Liner along the upper lash line, flicking the liner up and out. Repeat the application to create a thicker line. Follow with Hourglass 1.5mm Mechanical Gel Eye Liner to enhance the black tone. Finish up with two or three coats of Hourglass Film Noir Mascara on the top lashes.
-Brows: Perfect arches with Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.
-Lips: Prep lips earlier with Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil. Apply Hourglass Opaque Rouge Lipstick in Empress, a deep aubergine shade, and use your fingers to diffuse the color. Finish with a dab of Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil for a subtle sheen.

Amidst floor-length dresses of tulle, sequins and lace, only one thing at the Naeem Khan Spring '15 New York Fashion Week show could compete with the fashion: The classic Hollywood makeup from the golden age. Inspired by screen siren legend Lauren Bacall, Nars Director of Global Artistry James Boehmer gave the models fresh skin, glossy eyes and a stained lip to match the glamorous, red-carpet-worthy couture.

Vibrant lace, dreamy florals and romantic silhouettes ruled the runway at the Stella Nolasco Spring '15 New York Fashion Week runway show. To complement fashions inspired by the romanticism of Nolasco's Puerto Rican culture and makeup meant to channel a "high priestess" vibe, master hair stylist Marc Mena of Warren-Tricomi Salons created a whimsical, DIY-style braided look. "She's not going to the salon to get this type of hairstyle done; she's pulling her hair back [and] braiding it herself," says Mena, of the type of girl who would wear this look.

To get the look:
-Part hair down the center and pull out a section on each side of the front, creating two French braids and tie off the ends with a small elastic.
-Use a product like Shu Uemura Texture Wave on the roots to create hold.
-Pull remaining hair into a ponytail and create three equally sized fishtail braids, securing with elastic.
-Pull back each front braid, creating an "x" over the back ponytail, and secure with bobby pins.
-Loosen fishtails by pulling apart the braids, creating a rough, textured look.
-Take the outer fishtail braids and pull up (behind each ear), secure with bobby pins and loop back around, securing at the nape of the neck.
-Stretch out the middle fishtail braid and pull over the other braids, securing at the nape.
-Hide all ends within the braid structure. -Run fingers up and down the front braids, making sure the look is imperfect.
-Use a product like Warren-Tricomi Style Flexible Hairspray to hold style.

Narsleading makeup artist Diane Kendal nailed the water nymph look at the Spring '15 Thakoon runway show at New York Fashion Week. Designer Thakoon Panichgul said he wanted his models to look as though they were emerging from water, so Kendal delivered with slicked-back hair, glossy eyelids and luminous skin. She pulled off the I-woke-up-like-a-water-goddess look by using lip gloss on the eyelids and blush on the lips.

Steal this look for those last few weekends by the pool before summer officially ends.

The newest trend in nail art, known as "the midi," was spotted at New York Fashion Week's Creatures of Comfort Spring 2015 show. The trend uses "negative space" (AKA, your bare nail) between two different polish colors -- think of it as your nail wearing a crop top.

To complement the Creatures of Comfort neutral, earthy color palette and minimal, natural makeup, Rebecca Issa, Creative Director at Zoya, created this two-toned look. Nail tech Alicia Torella used two coats of Zoya nail polish in Tomoko above the cuticle and two coats of Farah along the top portion of the nail. The result? An easy-to-achieve, nude-meets-shimmer nail that is a chic, understated way to wear nail art.
