This dress by Marchesa is all about the details: the embellishments carefully placed over a delicate, sheer tulle base; the fringed tassels swinging from the shoulders and adding movement and drama; the sultry black and deep red color palette. The dress would be quite scandalous, if the details -- down to the tea-length hemline and the figure-skimming silhouette -- weren't so perfectly executed. As it is, it's a sexy nod to the opulence and decadence of the '20s.

The Embellished Coat We'd Forsake All Other Outerwear For
Jenny Packham, a Kate Middleton favorite, sent no shortage of glittering pieces down the runway -- but it was this belted coat, dripping with embellishments, that stole the show. It's wholly impractical (it must weigh a ton, and you can hear those oversized sequins coming from a mile away), yet so lovely that we can't stop staring. The soft silhouette and dark color palette -- which was inspired by Spanish artists -- add a touch of drama and moodiness to Packham's girly, romantic aesthetic.

Zac Posen's Show-Stealing Ball Gown
All other ball gowns can officially give up. This breathtaking number closed Zac Posen's show, and was just the glamorous look we were waiting for. Sparkly magenta fabric in a princess silhouette looks incredibly chic -- against all odds -- thanks to Posen's signature attention to detail and impeccable tailoring (having supermodel Naomi Campbell wear it helps, as well).

Jump on It
A classic black jumpsuit is transformed by Desigual's signature use of bold prints and colors. The palette of rich blue, burnt orange and lush green against the dark, structured fabric creates a look that's colorful and bright, but still rooted in fall. Three-dimensional flowers add a touch of whimsy that brings the piece to life.

Bundled Up
Quilted texture, embroidery and fur all come together to create this covet-worthy statement coat from BCBG.
Draped over a fringed skirt and chunky knit sweater, it creates a high-fashion ensemble that easily translates into everyday life -- effectively giving the finger to the cold, blustery weather that's dead-set on cramping your style.
