This sculptural piece from Delpozo is a study in fantastical sophistication. Pink paillettes peek out from beneath a blush skirt, while an abstract origami flower in bright yellow covers the bodice; the color palette is decidedly playful for spring, but the structural elements keep it grounded. Sleek hair keeps the focus on the whimsically architectural, haute couture design. (Also, we need those shoes in all their chunky, flowery glory.)

Now this is how you make a crop top look polished. With nary a sliver of abs showing, the silhouette of this ensemble is feminine, youthful and unapologetically girly. The twirl-worthy skirt features touches of broderie anglaise along the hem, making it one of the standout pieces in the collection. Flat, comfy-chic sandals keep it from feeling too high-maintenance, and slicked-back hair ensures it doesn't feel too twee. Inky eyeliner, subtle cheeks and patted-on aubergine lipstick (created by Gucci Westman for Hourglass Cosmetics) hold up to the graphic black-and-white color combo, creating a cohesive look.

What is black, white and red all over? Zac Posen's Spring 2015 runway, which featured only these three classic colors in order to keep the focus on Posen's exquisite cuts and tailoring. This sculptural, cardinal-red gown perfectly embodies the classic-yet-sexy vibe of his show: The meticulously fitted mermaid silhouette is dramatic, but restrained (especially compared to the usual volume seen at Posen's shows), and the upwardly-curving neckline is an elegant touch that that looks both timeless and modern.

Gingham was the print at Diane von Furstenberg's Spring 2015 runway show, but these aren't your basic picnic-blanket checks. Our favorite iteration was this lace-covered shift dress. Keeping with the vintage feel, the feminine silhouette had a shorter hemline that was balanced with longer sleeves. Small details, like the slight trim of sheer lace at the hem and a knotted ribbon at the waist (we're sensing a trend), tie the whole look together.

Leather pants in the spring? It can be done, as long as you opt for the slouchy, cropped silhouette seen on the Marissa Webb runway. The designer updated a classic cargo vest by adding length and crafting it out of light-as-air, transparent material that catches the wind and basically guarantees a fierce, runway-ready walk. Throw in a white crop top with thoughtful details like origami pleats, and the result is an effortless ensemble that will look just as good off the runway as it does on it.
