It was hard to miss Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad when she took the street style stage against New York's snowy white backdrop. Instead of letting the sloshy streets and drab weather put a damper on her ensemble, Ferragni stepped out in a bright, geometric Tommy Hilfiger turtleneck sweater with a flouncy mini to match, and accessorized the matching set with a bright orange Hermes kelly bag and cat-eye sunglasses by Celine. The result? A 60s-inspired look we can just as easily see Megan Draper wearing out and about in Manhattan. Is it springtime yet?
The Ivory Lane blogger Emily Jackson is a fashion favorite of ours for her ability to masterfully mix styles. Exhibit A: this rock 'n' roll electric blue fur jacket from Diane Von Furstenberg paired with a sophisticated wide-brimmed wool hat from Eric Javits. Throw in a pair of Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots, a classic Chanel bag and Helmut Lang pants, and you have Kate Moss meets a very hip Audrey Hepburn. Street style perfection.

Who says you can't wear your spring and summer pieces in the bitter cold? This fashionista knows you only need two things: black tights and a warm coat in an eye-popping color. (Okay, three things if you count the water and stain spray you most definitely need for suede shoes.) Emerald suede pumps and a boxy satchel in cobalt pick up the colors in her summery floral dress, while the bright yellow coat adds an unexpected element. With the new spring and summer collections hitting shelves, we're taking notes and wearing our pieces right now.
New York City is experiencing below-freezing temperatures, but that's not stopping droves of fashionistas, industry insiders and style bloggers alike from braving the cold and snow (in their Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots no less) for fashion week. Bloggers and sisters Aimee Song and Dani Song showed how winter street style is supposed to look. Over-the-knee boots -- check. Fashionable hat -- check. Statement-making coat -- check. They hit every item on our winter fashion must-haves with style. Here's to hoping the fall/winter trends for next season are just as covetable.
