What the Heck Is a "Beauty Sandwich" Treatment (and Do I Want One)?

This mysterious celeb-approved treatment is said to firm skin without needles...

What exactly is it?

On his website, Pol calls the treatment part of the "new age of skin care" and says that it uses a unique radio frequency method to firm, sculpt, and tighten the skin, no needles necessary. It's a multi-layered process (hence the term "sandwich"): Pol starts by cleansing the skin, then gives a facial massage before using the Pellevé (a type of radio frequency treatment designed to boost collagen production) and the eMatrix (another type of radio frequency treatment that involves a gentle form of laser resurfacing).

Is it safe to use?

The Beauty Sandwich is non-invasive and non-toxic. Pol, who used to be a makeup artist, wanted to create a treatment that involved little downtime that would leave his clients' skin a perfect canvas.

If the many celebs who love the treatment are anything to go by, then yes. Everyone from the Olsen Twins to Victoria's Secret Angels like Romee Strijid and actresses like Sienna Miller counts themselves a fan of the treatment.
