My choice of blush for the warmer months is always a cream-to-powder formula that will melt into my skin, rather than sitting heavily on the cheeks. Topshop Beauty Powder Blush, $14, does just that with the added bonus of some light-reflecting particles in the mix.

Good Girl
This cotton candy pink color adds an innocent flush to the cheeks. Pair with a matching pale pink lip for an on-trend pastel spring makeup look.

Dream Phone
A deeper pink blush like Dream Phone can be applied on the apples of cheeks for a subtle flush, or right beneath the cheekbone for a very natural-looking contour.

Do It Again
This peach shade of the Powder Blush is my all-time favorite because it screams warm weather! Just looking at the hue makes me want to grab my sunhat.

Wide Awake
The spring/summer shades of Topshop Beauty Nail Polish, $8, are the same creamy formula as always, but in Easter-y pastel hues. Love this light peach color!
After a long winter of darkness (both outside and in my makeup routine) I'm ready for summer makeup collections full of light pastel washes and punchy brights. Enter Topshop Beauty's summer 2014 makeup collection and I'm head over heels in love with each and every piece. Topshop's new Sheer Lips, Lip Varnish and Lip Paints were inspired by the iconic lips of model Kate Moss (the perfect match for all the Kate Moss for Topshop fashions perhaps?). And while the lip colors are nothing short of wow-worthy in bold colors and both matte and glossy finishes, the pastel nail polishes in the summer makeup collection are perfectly understated. The Best part? Every piece is under $25. I'm making a vow right here and now to forsake pricey department store makeup (well, at least for now) and head straight to the mall for my summer beauty look.
