Tory Burch Finally Does Beauty

And we can already hear the faint roar of a fan stampede (in T-logo ballet flats) gearing up to get their hands on it

For the last 10 years, Tory Burch has been building a fashion empire -- one with month-long waitlists for ballet flats and racks of preppy-bohemian clothes in every high-end department store in the country. While some people love to hate the line (yes, it's true -- tunics and ribbon belts don't work on everyone), the ones who love it really love it.

If you fall into the latter camp, hold onto your Tory fedora: Burch is doing beauty. She teamed up with Estée Lauder to create not just a fragrance (which, of course, was inevitable), but also a makeup and a body care line. The products launch on September 26 and there's an online presale starting September 6 -- just a few days before the Tory Burch show at New York Fashion Week.

According to WWD, the collection has been in the works for almost five years, and it's not just a one-and-done capsule deal -- it's "the foundation of a multi-category beauty company."

The fragrance is a unifying theme across the line -- even the lipstick and cheek tint are scented with cassis, grapefruit, and mandarin. And then, of course, there's the golden T logo emblazoned on every piece, which is sure to have Tory fans queuing up in droves. Let the waitlist begin.
