Remember the days when you basically plucked out all of your eyebrows? Don't do that again. It may have been the status quo in the 90s and early 2000s, but it's 2019 now and you should know better. Plus, over-plucking can damage your hair follicles thus risking your natural eyebrow shape — and no one wants that.

On the other end of the brow spectrum, we've got the "Instagram brow:" Sharpie-thick and perfectly sculpted. (James Charles regrets it, so should you.) When the eyebrow game leveled up, everyone got excited and aimed for perfection which was often too dark, overdrawn, and seemingly flat. There's nothing wrong with bushy brows, we all love its bold look. But by far the best way to groom your brows is to take their natural look and shape into consideration.

We're blaming the clickbait thumbnails of the beauty videos from Instagram for this trend. There is no way wavy eyebrows work on anyone. In editorial fashion, maybe... But in real life? Stop trying to make wavy eyebrows happen, Gretchen Wieners.

We only approve of this eye makeup look if you're a middle schooler going through your rebellious stage (although we're pretty sure you'll still regret doing this.) Sure, smokey eyes are sexy, but going full raccoon is definitely a no. Don't hide your eyes with layers of black eye pencil; there are other ways to look edgy.

Some people took the 100 layers of everything challenge a little too seriously with regards to mascara... Darling, don't: You can make your lashes long and thick without having clumps of mascara. Also, this technique can actually make your eyes look smaller. Go get a mascara that doesn't need multiple coats to give you thicker lashes.
