Colorful Hair: Red or Pink
Works Best On: Neutral skin tones that don't have too many red or pink undertones. Any eye color can rock these hues, but blues are especially flattering.

"Ladies who already have a lot of pink undertones in their complexion should avoid these hues because they're already close in color," Godard says. In other words, fire-engine reds and subtle pinks will bring out ruddiness if you already have a pink complexion.

These colors are a definite must for blue-eyed babes, since it will make their peepers pop. "Reds and pinks enhance blue eyes because orange [a similar shade] is opposite blue on the color wheel," Godard explains.

Try: For a brilliant red, try Ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color, $5.29, in Red. For a pretty, vibrant pink, try in Magenta. (Please note: You will also need a developer with this product.)

Pink Hair With Brown Eyes
This brown-eyed beauty rocks her pink 'do by allowing her dark roots to peek through. The subtle growth acts as a transition to her colorful hair, creating an overall gorgeous look with her pretty pink curls.

Red Hair With Blue Eyes
There's that stunning contrast Godard was talking about. While this red-hot color looks absolutely gorgeous freshly dyed, most colorful hairstyles fade quickly. To extend your color, Godard recommends shampooing less frequently (get on that dry shampoo, girl) and using a color-protecting shampoo like Redken Color Extend Magnetics Sulfate-Free Shampoo, $18.50, when you do suds up.
