The former "Gossip Girl" actress says she learned this sandwich-friendly hair hack from her mother in order to strengthen her hair. "My mom taught me this really great beauty tip. She used to put oil or mayonnaise on the bottom half of her hair before she would shower," said Lively, in an interview with Byrdie. "That way, when she would shampoo, the soap wouldn't strip the bottom of the hair and dry it out, making it brittle."

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Zeta-Jones revealed that she makes her own homemade recipe for a hair conditioner: beer mixed with honey! "I do condition my hair with honey and beer," she said. "I smell like the bottom of a beer barrel for days afterward, but it's very good for the hair." You can also use beer as a rinse if you're looking for a simpler option.

The singer co-washes and uses humidity as a tool to make her hair even more amazing and doesn't shy away from it. "I stand outside the shower and let the steam make my hair bigger," she told Glamour. "Also, I never really shampoo; I co-wash instead."

The model knows how to rock a mean ponytail, so it makes sense that she has a hack for how to make them look their best. She told Into The Gloss: "For baby hairs, I have a face brush from Sephora that I spray with hairspray to push back anything leftover from when I pull it all into a ponytail, but I guess you could use a toothbrush." She's not alone, either: Celebrity hairstylist Mark Townsend also recommends using a toothbrush to help smooth out bangs.
