Why We Love Her:
Maybe it comes from years of dealing with acne, but Bankson's YouTube channel is like a breath of fresh air (no cookie-cutter, perfectly put together all the time attitude here). She swears (sometimes), she'll tell you about the hairball at the bottom of her drain and she's completely unapologetic about who she is. Bankson gives straightforward tutorials on covering up acne and acne scars, and also recommends the best products for oily and acne-prone skin. She's also a model, proving acne or none, it's truly confidence that's most beautiful.
Why We Love Her:
Mae spent four years transitioning her hair from relaxed to natural, all the while documenting her progress on her YouTube channel and her blog, Natural Chica. Not only does Mae have countless tutorials for twist outs (her signature hairstyle), frohawks, bunhawks, what have you, but she also reviews the most-talked-about- and never-heard-of natural hair product lines.

Jaclyn Hill
Why We Love Her:
When she's not vlogging, Hill works as a professional makeup artist. So in addition to providing gorgeous makeup tutorials, she walks you through basic advice about choosing products and makeup brushes, and really explains what she's doing and why she's doing it that way (Like the narration you wish your OB/GYN wouldn't give you). You can watch any of Hill's videos and feel like you're getting a crash course in makeup, but our favorites are her contouring tutorials, which are 100 percent dummy-proof for beginners. They also cover more advanced techniques, like how to contour and highlight with blush or with all cream products.

Why We Love Her:
This nail blogger has a nail tutorial for every occasion from black and white Chanel nails (sometimes that's the closest to couture your budget allows), to palm tree printed nails for your island vacation. If the complicated-looking nail designs give you pause, rest assured the majority of Janelle's designs require little more than a toothpick (or dotting tool) and some scotch tape to accomplish. As she creates the eye-catching looks on camera, Janelle expertly walks viewers through the steps, reassuring them that, yes, that step is supposed to look a tad messy.
These YouTube beauty bloggers (or vloggers as they're known on the web) have been known to steal hours of our time as we sit entranced by their countless hair, makeup and nail tutorials. No, we're not talking about Michelle Phan. These ladies may not have reached household name status (yet), but they're "the next big thing" in the YouTube beauty space. With viewers reaching into the millions, they know what they're talking about. And we're taking notes on all of their looks.
