So in addition to providing gorgeous makeup tutorials, she walks you through basic advice about choosing products and makeup brushes, and really explains what she's doing and why she's doing it that way (Like the narration you wish your OB/GYN wouldn't give you). You can watch any of Hill's videos and feel like you're getting a crash course in makeup, but our favorites are her contouring tutorials, which are 100 percent dummy-proof for beginners. They also cover more advanced techniques, like how to contour and highlight with blush or with all cream products.

If the complicated-looking nail designs give you pause, rest assured the majority of Janelle's designs require little more than a toothpick (or dotting tool) and some scotch tape to accomplish.
