Why: Too Faced's Sweet Peach collection made major waves at the end of 2016, and the Papa Don't Peach blush was definitely the must-have. British beauty blogger Zoella expounded on the adorable (and sturdy!) packaging, but was quick to point out that the product inside completely delivers too: "This color is beautiful, and it has a slight highlight-y sheen to it, which is also why I've been really enjoying it, because you don't necessarily need a highlighter when you put it on. It gives a quite healthy glow."
Why: YouTuber Heart Defensor recently made a video of her favorite drugstore products for under $10, and it should come as no surprise that the cult favorite Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer made the list. It's definitely popular within the beauty community, and Heart explained why: "This product works better than most high-end concealers out there, which definitely says a lot about it. It also has amazing pigmentation and coverage, especially for minimizing the appearance of my dark circles."
Why: KathleenLights deemed Cover FX Custom Enchancer Drops in Sunkissed "the best liquid bronzer I have ever used" in a recent video. The rest of the line is also popular, but Kathleen called out this one as her favorite: "All of the Custom Enhancer Drops from Cover FX are amazing, but the bronzer is the thing that really stood out to me from the entire collection," she said, further elaborating that the natural look and subtle sheen really helped make it special.
Why: Jen Chae chose Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette as one of her favorite products of 2016, and she's far from the only one. "The thing that makes this one different from the other eye shadow palettes is the quality of the shadow," she explained. "I feel like it's milled really finely, and everything is well-pigmented and super buttery-smooth."
Why: Garnier's SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water definitely made quite the splash on the beauty scene, and blogger Teni Panosian counts herself as one of its many fans: "It takes every trace of my mascara off, and mascara is the hardest thing for me to get off." She also praised the fact that it leaves no residue (unlike oil-based makeup removers), leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed.
