OK, OK, so this is certainly not what you should base your vote on this coming election. But we've gotten a little caught up in the campaign hoopla and want to take a beauty spin on it by comparing the common hairstyles of the two potential first ladies to be.

As you can see, Cindy McCain tends to wear her straight, blonde hair pulled back in a sleek updo. I think it gives her a no-nonsense feel that is quite appropriate in the business or political world.

Michelle Obama has the shoulder-length bob that's very popular these days and usually wears her hair down. This seems to give her a more casual, approachable look (one a lot of women also have).

At this point it's a bit of a toss-up. I could see both standing on the front lawn of the White House. What do you think? Does one of these women have better "first lady hair"?
