Transformers Premier: Hot Girls in Disguise? First Hand Account of Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas With Some Seriously Bad Hair
- Posted by Anna on June 24, 2009 at 03:33PM
This past Monday was the Los Angeles Premier of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and after following Megan Foxs recent hits (Japan Premier) and misses (quasi mullet fiasco) on the red carpet, I was excited to see what she had in store for the big event. To my dismay (though I'm sure only mine due to the fact that I was surrounded by techy 13 year old boys who couldn't have cared less about Megan's hair) she had some frizzy half-up hairdo with a barely-there headband that created a weird ripple effect near her forehead. While the look was more unfortunate than terrible and totally forgivable, her co-star Isabel Lucas' two-tone-too-much-root hairdo was the biggest disaster of the carpet. Lucas is new to the movie star scene but she should know that dark brown roots and blonde curls don't go well together, even though some veterans of the carpet have made the same mistake. Check out other hair-dye mishaps.

Hold on to your hats, I've got a shocking revelation for you: You really don't need to spend much money to get a quality shampoo. There are reasons to buy the fancy salon shampoos (and if you are going to fork over the cash, try one of these), but the bottom line is, you can get healthy and clean hair with products found at your local supermarket.

What You MUST Know Before Waxing at Home
- Posted by Sarah on June 25, 2009 at 04:25PM
In an attempt to save some cash, I tried waxing my legs at home. I'll spare you the gory details, but basically it was a disaster (it rivaled some of these hair removal horror stories). I now realize I made two very big mistakes. One, I used one of these sub-par waxing kits. And two, I didn't know what the heck I was doing.
Acne-Fighting Products: The Good, The Bad, The Worthless

I reluctantly put up with breakouts in high school (ever notice how they always popped up right before picture day, prom, any remotely-important social event?) but now that I'm a bit (OK, more than a bit) older, I've had enough. I'm tired of the pms-related breakouts, the stress-induced pimples, and the regular old zits that feel the need to visit from time to time.

Dear Andrew Keegan,
Which Comes First: Foundation or Concealer?
- Posted by Sarah on June 22, 2009 at 04:23PM
We've already settled the issue of what order your skin care products should go on (get the full scoop here), but now there's a new beauty debate raging over at TotalBeauty.com: What's the "correct" makeup method, foundation first, then concealer? Or concealer and then foundation?
Twilight Star Kristen Stewart Embraces the Rock 'n' Roll Mullet for a New Film Role

Kristen Stewart sported a questionable new 'do while out in Los Angeles this week. Die-hard "Twilight" fans might not recognize Stewart without her messy auburn waves, but we have a feeling she will be back to Bella's signature style just in time for the next sequel.
