There is a LOT of shimmer and sparkle to these. It's not very subtle at all. They are incredibly pretty, but fairly sheer. You can build up the pigmentation a little bit by using fingers or a flat brush to apply instead of a fluffy brush, or applying it wet. Primer is a must. The price is okay...

These cubes are excellent. They are long lasting and are very easy to layer. The dark colors can be a bit strong, so be sure to use sparingly and then add on as needed. It should be noted, however, that due to their texture they can "mist" off the brush when used so its good to have a tissue on...
I was hesitant to pay $22 for 4 eye shadows, but you get SO much product! I had to try the cute little cubes of shimmery goodness. They are shimmery. They go well paired with a matte. I like to use similar color mattes in my crease then apply this shimmery shadow to my lids. It looks terrific....
