This is really good when you have extremely flaky lips. It takes off all the dead skin. I would recommend that unless your lips are extremely flaky, that you not use it. It can be harsh for lips that are not flaky. If you need a light exfoliation, use something else. Use some type of balm...

IT WORKS FOR MY LIPS :)
I must admit my lips were extremely flaky. I have sensitive skin, so I wasn't sure. It was flakiness from winter that I was trying to fix. worked great on my my lips- removed my flakes, and moisturized my lips.
I use The Body Shop's Hemp Lip Protector, and I was really excited about this product because I thought it would work as well, plus exfoliation. Honestly I found lightly scrubbing my lips with a toothbrush or eyebrow brush and then putting on my hemp stuff works better.
