This brush was 1/2 of the dual ended brush that came with a smashbox makeup kit I purchased (the other end is the brow brush). The brush feels fantastic but is difficult to clean, even using brush cleaner, soap, and cleanser! I prefer my cheap ecotools slanted eyeliner brush for applying...

GOOD, BUT NOT THE RIGHT SHAPE
This is a good quality brush that is stiff enough to do the job, but soft enough to feel comfortable. I don't love the shape. I had a similar Sonia Kashuk brush, but the bristles were had rounded corners, making a much more precise and controllable line. Smashbox's brush seems to be better...
This works really well with cream eyeliners, making it almost effortless to create a smooth line. It works for both subtle definition or a thicker, more dramatic line. I actually find it easier to use than an eye pencil.
