I would say that this is a perfectly adequate dryer. It doesn't have any fancy features, but is a good price and works pretty well.

I love mine; drys my hair w/o drying it out

Mind you, I have never even used a ionic hair dryer but Consumer Reports said they are effective at minimizing frizzies in the short term but they come back before the day is over if the humidity favors them. Anyone experience this?

I bought this hair dryer after my last one died and I LOVE it! It makes my hair smooth and shiny and it dries in half the time of my old dryer. A well spent 20 bucks.
