I do love Essie but I do find some of their products such as the top & base coats, and some of the polishes to be quite watery which can lead to streaking and bubbling. This is a decent base coat but as the previous reviewer said it is thin and watery and if you are going for a dark vampy nail...

VERY WATERY
Very very watery and thin basecoat. Works well in adhering the color to your nail, but if you're wearing a darker color, it does nothing to prevent your nails from staining.
It only helps prevent chips by like 2% I'd say. Better than some, but no miracle.
