The straightener part does straighten, but if you use straighten a lot, your hand will get tired and hurt a bit due to the uncomfortable position. This is a good straightener and iron. It works as others,you can control the heat as you need (25 levels + turbo),You can not make a small curls because the iron is big, but makes big beautiful curls.
