Unlike other toners I've used, this was is not at all drying. It also doesn't feel like it's tightening my skin or removing dead skin/makeup residue. I like the softening effect very much and my skin truly felt softer than ever. However, I wasn't sure that I was really getting any exfoliating...

AWESOME!
I started using this in November and my face feels so soft I have an uneven skin tone, and I think that since I have been using the balancing softener, my skin does not look so unbalanced anymore. I use it twice a day and after a week, I really began noticing a difference.
