The hair spray held well. Paul Mitchell is a trustworthy brand. I should've known better, but I bought the pump bottle instead of aerosol and had to make a little more effort to move my hand quicker for even appklication

I use this all the time. I have very straight hair that would never stay in place without the hold in this spray. When it is humid outside or rainy my hair holds in place. I don't care if my hair is stiff- otherwise it would be flat and ugly looking. The shine is a bonus!
