I have stick straight Asian eyelashes and mascara has a tendency to smudge and make my dark circles even more noticeable, but this one works great and doesn't smudge at all! I wouldn't say that it's waterproof exactly (more like very water resistant) and there is a little clumping to worry about...

It took some practice to get the hang of handling the brush, but i got it eventually. The mascara staid on even after i went in the pool with my friend. I did not see it as "glossy" though. It also dried up my lashes and took some work to get out of the corners of my lashes.

This mascara stays put and doesn't smudge. My lashes doubled in size. One lady even asked if my lashes were even real!
