The FHI, in my opinion, is the number one flat iron available in this price range. I love how it doesn't snag hair, has adjustable heat, and most importantly to me, doesn't dry out hair. I wasn't particularly careful with my first one and still got 5 years of use out of it. I don't really know...

It is a cheap thing made out of low quality materials.
When my CHI stopped working I was heart broken! My aunt who does hair recommended this one over the CHI-she was right! This flat iron is much better than the CHI. Very smooth, even heat, doesn't get too hot and is great for curling your hair as well!
