It moisturizes but doesn't not help with stretch marks. Stretch marks are tears/scars in the inner most layer of the skin called the dermis. There is no way lotion/oil is able to penetrate the skin that deep to repair damages. I've used this for a while and there is NO difference.
I have a slightly different one with a pump, and it says lotion instead of cream but I couldn't find that one so I guess they may be the same in different packaging. Anyway I used this everyday during and after both of my pregnancies and the only place I ended up getting some small stretch marks...
