you get a felt tip marker type wand in a great selection of shades at a drug store low price of around 7$, and what you have inside is a true lip stain, not a drying long wear gloss. its absolutly liquid inside, and you should put it on completly clean, dry lips, with no chapping or peeling bc...

i love me some lipstain. i do say though that you apply this with a lip balm ontop. if not your lips can look dry and chapped. the color lasts a long time and they always have great colors to choose from

I just tried this last week and it was not a good experience. Poor quality.

There's only been one marker type lip stain that I could stand - (NYC) but no matter the brand, without something over the top, they are super drying. The Covergirl brand is also streaky and gross. Most of Covergirl's products have horrible tastes/smell. I don't know why that can't make products...

For the price I can't badmouth this stain too much but I wasn't as happy as can be either. The applicator tip seemed to dry out rather quickly and I don't have time to be always buying new ones so I would rather spend a little more on something that will last longer.
