The BIGGEST turn off for this product was that it smells like insect repellant! The smell lingers a long while after I applied it. I didn't see any dramatic difference in the length of my lashes after I applied it. It's not the first Maybelline mascara that smelled like insect repellant.

I have read some negative reviews, and do not agree. This mascara is so good, you do not even need an eyelash curler. It does have an unusual scent, but not an unbearable one. It is just not what one would expect from the name.

This mascara is too wet and smudges and gives you raccoon eyes after about an hour. I used once and it went to my daughter-in-laws collection of mascara tha I don't like.
