I have really straight hair and tried this for a wave without crinkly texture. This did not give me that texture but because my hair is so straight it didn't give me too much wave. It did give it a nice shine without being oily and smells fantastic.

This definitely gave me light, beachy waves without a whole lot of work (unlike the Suave sea salt spray spray which requires you to twist your hair after spritzing). The waves weren't as pronounced as if I had created them with an heat tool, but this did a pretty decent job of creating texture...
