I prep my lips with lip balm when I start doing my makeup on the face and once I get to the lips I gently wipe off any residues with a Q-tip (and exfoliate at the same time!). I used the shade Sell Out by dotting on and then pat in/blend out with my finger. It feels quiet comfortable on the lips...
