This tool gets so hot so fast and makes gorgeous curls in seconds. But unless you're a pro, the marcel-style wand is very tricky to use. If you've got the skills and/or the patience, I'd give it a try, but if you want to get out the door in a hurry, try something else.

I learned my lesson from the Hot Tools about product placement and avoiding burns. This is a great iron that heats up super fast. You do need to get used to the Marcel wand as it is different from a traditional curling iron. It does make you feel like a hairstylist, once you get the hang of it...
