You love it or hate it!
Weird reviews...seems people LOVE this or HATE it! I didn't love it. I though the mascara park was clumpy and really hard to get off. The primer is okay but not worth the price for just the primer. Amazing, Best Mascara Ever.
If you have long eyelashes, this is for you. Start with a non waterproof mascara, my personal pick is Double Extend. Don't let it dry and just use the mascara portion, not the primer. It does everything I need a HG mascara to do!
I have this in the waterproof version and I absolutely love it! It does everything I need a HG mascara to do! It lengthens, thickens/volumizes, not clumpy and most importantly be able to hold a curl!!! Step 1 (primer) was able to hold the curl that I got from my eyelash curler! I was pleasantly surprised by this, because most primers make the curl fall down! Step 1 also lengthen and thicken my las...read morehes too! Step 2 (the actual mascara) went on easily and smooth. I like the lash comb! I was able to coat all my lower lashes with this mascara easily and it's normally and usually a pain in the butt to put mascara on my lower lashes! Flakes, clumps, and smears
I bought two tubes of this mascara to try while they were on sale: one in brown black and one in blackest black in the non-waterproof formula. I found that the brown black tube worked wonderfully, and did not clump at all. The blackest black, however, went on too thick, smeared easily, clumped, and began to flake almost immediately. exaggeration galore
I have very pale and invisible eyelashes. This mascara ( I use the non-waterproof) works wonders with my eyelashes, and really makes my eyes stand out. People ask me if I wear fake eyelashes because they look so long and perfect, but it's just the mascara that enhances what's already there. Not for the faint of heart....
Let me just begin by saying, Volume Shocking is not the kind of Mascara you wear if you want to look like the girl next door with no make up on... Never use again

Shockingly awful
My lashes looked super-extra shocking frightening tarantula spider lady after using this. I had to wash off all of my eye makeup to start over after applying this.
