This formula doesn't seem to have changed since I first used it 15 years ago. The white, mineral-oil "lotion" still has that strong Crayola smell that lingers after application and removal. Those who carry the thumb-sized bottle in their purse may want to periodically check for dirt that can collect in the grooves beneath the screw top.

Decent product!
I bought this because my other makeup remover was too big to go in my carry-on. It does an okay job. I don't mind the smell but the bottle does tend to get a little messy. It does leave oily residue so I have to wash my face afterwards (although I need to do that nightly anyways!), Additionally, it makes your vision a little blurry when it gets in your eyes. I do NOT use this or any makeup remover on my lips--too weird. Not my favorite...
I bought this awhile ago and then shortly after bought something different to use regularly. I kept this around and use it if I absolutely have to (the bottle is small enough, it's good for travel). It's very runny and I generally prefer my makeup remover to have a thicker, creamier texture. I don't love the smell and it leaves a very greasy, shiny residue on my eyes and lips after use that no amo...read moreunt of washing and wiping can get rid of. (This residue was ESPECIALLY gross the couple of times I used it to remove a long-wear lipstick. Ick.) JUST AVERAGE
I was running low on my usual eye makeup remover, Loreal Clean Artiste, and had recently purchased a CG waterproof mascara that would not budge with the Loreal product, even though it is made for waterproof mascara. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I decided to try this product. As luck would have it, it actually was able to remove the mascara and the proof was the next morning; no smudges...read more! However, the smell is odd; sort of like yogurt or sour cream. The product is a little runny and the package is a poor design for that. It does make eyes "blurry" after using, but that is to be expected with an oil based remover. I also thought the value was not that great. I paid almost $4 and when I took the bottle out of the package, I was surprised at how narrow the bottle is.
