A small amount, one and a half pea size, will cover the whole face. Goes on smooth, light and creamy, not thick, greasy nor sticky. Its description also states anti aging effects but I haven't used it long enough to see any results. I have very dry skin and this gives me the moisture that I need. It is no frills - but I don't want a facial product with potions and lotions and unnatural scents. This is the best for after an accidental sunburn. Even my boyfriend gave it a try!
