Not a fan of Aromaco
In my quest for a natural, aluminum-free deodorant that works well I bought the Aromaco deodorant from Lush. I ordered it online and when the box came, I could already smell the deodorant, even with it packed up and the box taped shut. This smells SO STRONG. Lush describes this as delivering "happy, hippy pits" and hippy is right. This smells like nasty incense mixed with dirt. Apart from the terrible, strong scent, this is inconvenient to use. It comes in the form of a bulky block of waxy product that needs to be kept fresh. It is hard to find something to store this in to ensure that it doesn't dry out. If you leave this out, it could collect bacteria. Also, if this isn't kept in an airtight container your whole house will smell like dirt and sandalwood. The deodorant part of this also didn't do much for me by way of odor control. I think Lush figured that they could claim that this has odor fighting properties, just because it smells so strong, the scent could cover up any odor you have. Patchouli mixed with body odor still smells bad. I'm interested in trying the T'eo deodorant because the scent seems much better and the consistency is different. If you are considering the Aromaco, I would definitely recommend going to an actual Lush store and smelling it for yourself. If you (and everyone around you) loves the smell of patchouli, then this might be for you. A natural deodorant that actually works
Aromarant surprised me by actually working. A Lush SA gave me a sample to try at home because I was skeptical. It works! It's not bullet-proof, but neither is the prescription anti-perspirent/deodorant I typically have to use (yes, I sweat that much). Aromarant has seen me through two days of sunny So Cal weather: one day in a tank top and one day in a long-sleeved cotton top. I'll just stick to my $1 Suave deo.
I got a sample for "Aromarant" and it smells good. I didn't get the dreaded fire pits or anything, but I hated applying it with my hand because if anyone has gotten deodorant on their hands, it's a pain to wash off. AROMACREME IS THE BEST
Smelling this one in comparison to the other 2 solid deos that Lush makes, it is the least fragrant but smells nice and amazingly, after trying all three, this has been the absolute best one there is. I have gone for 2 days without odor and it does help with sweating as well. I was happily amazed! T'eo, A Great Natual Deodorant
I love T'eo! This dry bar includes Baking Soda, Cream of Tartar, Apricot Kernel Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Magnesium Carbonate, Lemon Oil, Juniperberry Oil, and Lemongrass Oil. I rub it on freshly washed pits & it keeps me from smelling bad all day with no irritation! I hate perfumed antiperspirant deodorants. Aromacreme Lover
This works so well that it gives most people a rash under their arms until they've become adjusted to it. I'm fine with that as long as the product I'm using is safe and effective. Not my favorite
I usually like Lush products, but the deodorant is awful. I used one that had wax on the back, and was made of pressed talcum powder type substance. Unfortunately, the wax doesn't stay on, the powder crumbles, and it creates a huge mess everytime I use it. i was warned at the store not to apply aromacreme or aromarant just after shaving as essential oils in that concentration are extremely strong. I LOVE LOVE LOVE both products. T'eo is the one for me
Lush's T'eo deordorant is the one for me :) It's a solid, oval bar, with a layer of blue wax on the bottom for ease of handeling. It has citrus and Tea Tea oils but you don't really smell the tea tree :) Don't get it wet tho, or gets totally messed up and you have to scrape the top off...This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
