Love this stuff
I have sensitive skin that gets oily when irritated. For years I thought I had oily skin and made it worse with harsh cleansers. Then I found Cetaphil. I use it as a 3 in 1 product: a gentle makeup remover, a facial cleanser and shaving cream (yes, shaving cream!) I ran out of shave cream and thought it was worth a try. an overall good buy
I have adult, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I've tried many different cleansers from high-end to drugstore. In the end, I always seem to come back to this drugstore gem. It seems to be the only cleanser which doesn't break me out or strip my skin of all oils. Unlike most cleansers it leaves my face feeling clean but not a harsh squeaky clean. (Which is a no-no) It's packaged in a no-frills pum...read morep dispenser bottle, and has no fragrance whatsoever. Only problem with this is that it's so gentle, it doesn't remove all my makeup. Just OK, but keep looking
I thought this was awesome when I started using it,my skin wasn't dry at all...but when I used toner afterward...there was still makeup on my face. It was gentle yes...but too gentle for me. I use this when broke and can't afford my usual cleanser
If you use the Cetaphil for dry, sensitive skin, it is super gentle and won't cause irritation or break-outs. It will not wash off your make-up so use a make-up remover wipe or solution first. Incredibly Gentle
This stuff really is for ALL skin types. Even at the hospital, those with the most sensitive of skins...who would often bleed from using any other cleanser, can tolerate this. It's not useable to remove makeup or get rid of acne.... but it's perfect for keeping skin clean throughout the day without overdrying the skin. love cetaphil face wash

Gentle but effective
The only cleanser that gets my skin very clean but doesn't dry it out . In fact it leaves just enough of a moisturizing layer on the skin. I've found that it does actually remove all of my make-up except for the most stubborn mascara.
