Great All Around
I have oily skin with occasional acne and this works great for me. It's not made for makeup removal so I take off my eye and lip makeup with a makeup remover and everything else comes off clean with no residue. This works great for my sister and my mother too who have normal and dry skin (respectively). Great, inexpensive cleanser!
I have used expensive cleansers purchased from both spas and department stores and Cetaphil is better than most I've tried. I have sensitive skin that tends to be acne prone. I've used cetaphil for a long time. I've tried all kinds of other cleansers both expensive and non-expensive and I always end up coming back to cetaphil. Basic Facial Cleanser
This is your basic, no frills face wash. It's great for washing your face in the morning, but I do not recommend this to remove your makeup from the day. best cleanser!
I first heard about cetaphil from Paula Begouin's book "don't go to the cosmetics counter without me". I discovered that I didn't really have dry skin--I had oily skin that was being made dry by using bad products. I switched my cleanser to cetaphil and started using AHA & BHA products for exfoliation and within 6 weeks I looked 5 years younger. always have it handy
For a sensitive skinned gal, this is a staple. It's multi-purpose, too. I've used it on my body in the shower when my skin used to be irritated by harsh body soaps. I mix it with a little baking soda to form an exfoliating paste once a week. I use it to remove makeup before cleansing with my MURAD acne cleanser. And sometimes, when my face just needs a "break" from all the cleansers, ton...read moreers, and moisturizers, I use it without water and leave a light film of it on to dry overnight. multiple age appropriate
I have 50+ skin. My dermatologist recommended it and I love it. Doesn't even have to be fully rinsed off. My daughter had acne and sensitive skin.
