Wonderful cleanser!
This cleanser is gentle, creamy and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, clean and not tight like many other cleansers do. Other pros: the bottle lasts a long time, it's affordable and goes on sale often, and the plastic bottle can be stored upside down when you get to the bottom to get every last drop out. Cons: it gets off facial make-up, but not eye makeup, you need a separate eye makeup remover for that. Gentle Facial Cleanser
I have been using this product for years and have never tried a more gentle facial cleanser. The price is reasonable for the quantity that you receive and it lasts a really long time! Although it's not strong enough to remove heavy makeup (follow with a toner of some sort), it is still able to cleanse your face well, in it's own non-foamy way :)This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

to be honest........

Great Basic Cleanser
I have sensitive skin and this doesn't dry out my skin any more than any other facial cleanser. It doesn't have much of a scent either which is good. I use this morning and night and my skin is never irritated by it. It doesn't send my skin into oil production overload(as my skin is oily/combo). I love the fact that it comes with a pump. Much easier to use when your hands are wet and easy to control how much you dispense. Unbeatable Basic
When my skin gets really dry, irritated and sensitive nothing beats this cleanser. It gets my face really clean and yet does not make the situation worse. Although I often use other cleansers this one is what I use whenever I need something effective but really gentle. It takes care of my needs perfectly. Ineffective for Eczema
My husband accidentally purchased Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser when I asked him to buy Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. I thought what the heck, it's the same brand and I'm using it to clean my face, it's gotta be good. Wrong!!! After a few weeks of experiencing horrible dry skin on my chin, combined with zits galore, I FINALLY figured out that it might be my switched skin cleanser. I should have read more carefully instead of assuming that one Cetaphil is as good as another. Gentle on Skin
I like the smell, and I like the way it's gentle on sensitive skin. It's probably a great basic facial cleanser for someone with normal skin with very few problems. Really doesn't do anything for my acne though. Ok for dry skin... Oily= not so hot
I want to like it and it's great for makeup removal and in a pinch but it does make me break out. Way too oily fir a combo girl. Perhaps it's a seasonal thing that only works in very dry climates or winter? It's ok but not sure what everyone is raving about.
