Who doesn't have this??? A must!
This product is a must for any beauty junkie, especially those on a budget! This product is so versatile. I have used it on my lips (especially at night), under my eyes, on elbows, to take make-up off, around my cuticles, around my hairline when coloring.... The list goes on and on! It is ridiculous how many things Vaseline can be used for. If I was stranded on a dessert island, I would have Vaseline and mascara. Works miracles for skin!
I love Vaseline, I have always stated that. I recently received a kit from TotalBeauty to review and I was surprised at how much I did not know that Vaseline could do. I always used it as a moisturizer, but there is so much more! Make up remover? You bet! It removes mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow easily. If you use it as a foot treatment overnight, it will leave feet super soft and smooth. A...read morelso, it is great for making body and face scrubs by mixing with salt for body and sugar for face. If you apply Vaseline to the edge of the nail before applying nail polish, the polish will not stick to the skin. And of course, the amazing moisturizing properties of Vaseline, great for rough knees, elbows and rough areas during the winter. Even as chap stick. Great for
chapped lips, dry skin and believe it or not, eyelashes. Vaseline helps moisturize the skin quickly and effectively. I use this on my eyelashes. It made them much more thick and longer as well, but you have to be consistent with it and use it for at least 1 month+ to see a big difference. Simple yet good
I do also like using the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly (original) on my lips especially during the winter season, my lips get crazy dry and chapped! Great never-changing product
This is great for many areas. I usually use for burns, scars and chapped skin. I am happy with the price and the size. So why not giving a perfect rating? It is too sticky and heavy to wash off. it's a classic
I've been using Vaseline for years and I'm sure I'll be using it for years to come. It's not expensive at all and it lasts forever. There are so many uses for it too. I use it to soften my lips, I've seen people rub it all over their skin as a moisturizer (probably not recommended for people who have oily skin or break out easily), you can mix it with powder eye shadow for a shimmery color or u...read morese it by itself to remove eye make up, for burns, the dermatologist told me to put it on my face to act as a seal for the skin they cut off to biopsy, and I'm sure there are a ton more things that you could use it for. Sure, it can feel a little greasy if you put to much on, but that can be true of a lot of products. Vaseline is cheap and very versatile. It moisturizes dry, chapped skin including lips (great lip gloss), prevents windburn if you ski, run, or bike in extreme weather. It removes makeup. The list goes on and on..An update-I was sent a Vaseline kit with recipes to review and wad thrilled to find even more uses. You can combine it with coarse sea salt and use it as a scrub, It healed my severe...read morely dry feet and hands overnight--I just applied Vaseline to them and put on cotton socks and gloves. It is great for manicures as a cuticle moisturizer and to prevent polish from going out of the lines. It removes makeup, you can take a wet toothbrush and gently exfoliate your lips and apply Vaseline overnight to repair very chapped lips. I have used it as a clear lip gloss. It is a good makeup remover. I mixed it with a bit of eye shadow which gave it a new effect, but it caused my mascara to smudge off. I did not like it mixed with blush--too shiny and greasy feeling for me. Many human Skincare products are not safe or not properly balanced for use on animals, but my veterinarian actually recommended Vaseline for the dry spots on my dog's elbows! Multipurpose Wonder!
I use this product daily for a variety of purposes: lips, cuticles, rough spots… I used to dance in public entertainment and for that eternal smile we all rubbed Vaseline over our gums, teeth, and lips. It kept our smiles moist and glistening. Now, I use it in exfoliating my lips in the evening, as a moisturizer under my lip color, and on any place that requires extra help such as the feet and elbows.
